A young U.S. teenager Anushka Naiknaware wins $15,000 scholarship for her groundbreaking invention

An Oregon teenager has succesfully built anbandage that can automatically tell doctors when its due to be changed, impressing Google judges and securing a $15,000 scholarship.

Anushka Naiknaware (13) was found in the top eight in an international science contest run by Google.
She won the Lego Education Builder Award, which included the scholarship, a free trip to Lego world headquarters in Denmark and a year of entrepreneurship mentoring from a Lego executive, reported The Oregonian.
Large wounds must always be kept moist to promote faster healing, but regular changing of bandages to check moisture levels will make things worse.
In a bid to solve this problem, Ms. Naiknaware, a seventh-grader at Stoller Middle School in Portland, designed and tested a bandage that is embedded with tiny monitors.
which can automatically sense moisture levels and help medical workers to determine whether the dressing has dried out enough that the bandage needs to be changed.
Ms. Naiknaware created the sensors by printing a fractal pattern using ink containing graphene nano-particles.
The particles which can accurately detect when moisture levels have dropped.
Youngest winner
Google judges named her one of 16 global finalists, all of whom travelled to the company’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, to present their project.
Ms. Naiknaware was the youngest person to win one of the global prizes.
She told The Oregonian that being able to interact, debate and play with 19 other curious teen scientists from across the world was one of her favourite life experiences. Another, she said, was the moment she saw her bandage prototype work.
“My idea became a physical, tangible reality,” said Ms. Naiknaware.
She said she hopes to use her Lego mentor’s advice to figure out how to get U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for her bandages so a company can produce them at scale. — AP

I thought." i just had to have them".     Two days later, i had the extension attached to my hair. on Monday, I carried them to school. My friends loved them. After school, we were to stay for some extension classes in chemistry. We were supposed to spend an hour and 30minutes. He thought that there must be a way to get some of the food for him.      At last he figured out a fine plan. When everyone had gone to market, tortoise crawled to a certain palm tree a hundred meters or so from the open market. Clumsily he wedged himself into a hole near the foot of the tree, safe inside, he began to sing.                               "Dance, palm tree, dance,                Dance all the way around                the market-place.                Dance, palm tree, dance                Dance all the way around                   the market-place" now tortoise was a wise creature with special magic powers.
